Children

The children’s ministry of First Baptist Church of Byram is a place where kids from preschool through the sixth grade can come and learn about Jesus Christ through the application of God’s Word in an understandable way. There are many activities for children including R.A.’s, G.A.’s, Mission Friends, children’s choirs, Bible Drill, G– FORCE (monthly children’s church), etc.

Music

The Music Ministry is complimenary to the preaching of God’s Word. This ministry is God’s message through song. The music ministry serves as a way to praise God through instruments (orchestra, and handbells), voice (choirs, and vocal praise team), and inspirational presentations (drama, multimedia, sound, and lighting).

Youth

The Youth Ministry is here to help young men and women (7th – 12th grade) in their walk with Jesus Christ through Bible study in Sunday School as well as on Sunday evenings and Wednesday nightsthrough our new cirriculum S.A.L.T. (Sharing Abundant Life together). We also do mission projects throughout the year to give back to the community what God has blessed us with. Also, we go on campouts in God’s creation to get away from the “distractions” of everyday life and be one-on-one with Him through Bible study, praising Him in song, and enjoying His creation.

Outreach

The Outreach ministries of First Baptist Church of Byram are here to minister to members, guests, and people and organizations outside the church, to spread the Word of God throughout the local area and around the world.

Senior Adults (Golden Gleamers)

The Golden Gleamers are a fun group of people.  They enjoy Christian fellowship through meals, trips, plays, etc.  If you are 50 or over come join this group for a time of fun and fellowship in Jesus Christ.

Prayer Chain

The Prayer Chain is made up of women of the church who will pray for any circumstance at a moment’s notice. If you have a prayer request that needs immediate action than contacting one of these women will begin a “chain” of prayers specifically for your prayer request and the power of prayer is immeasurable.

Sunday School

Sunday School is where children, youth, and adults alike delve deeper into God’s Word through Bible Study, small group discussions, and various activities to communicate the Gospel effectively.

Adults

We have classes for all adults; singles, couples, young-at-heart, men, women, etc.  There is a class for you.  If you do not know which class you fit best in come anyway and we will do our best to put you in an appropriate class.
